Altered jars and abstract ATC's

I've been so busy having fun in my studio that I totally forgot to share what I made the last month. I finally got around to make some fairy's in a jar, I had so much fun that I already started to make some more! It's hard to see in the picture but the first one is reaching for little star charms hanging from the lid.

And I challenged myself into making some abstract ATC's. I had a lot of fun playing with these, I did some transfers, distressing, collaging and stamping on them. Just in case you wonder, most of them are still up for trade so have a look here

Like I said I did try to make some transfers but I keep on having problems with them, no matter how long I rub some of them still dry up cloudy (these are the tranfers from a magazine, not the copied ones) And I had the greatest tip ever from the yahoo group "inkjet transfers", vegetable oil!! It works like a charm! Look at the before and after:

How cool is that! Although you really have to be carefull not to get oil on the back of the cards, they are hard to glue down if they are oily!

Have a great day and play!
Love Lydia
